《Beat Street》，是1984年上映的美国电影，讲述了纽约市80年代初的Hip-Hop文化。

其中角色不乏Hip-Hop文化早期的先驱者，例如Afrika Bambaataa、Soulsonic Force、Jazzy Jay、Doug E. Fresh、Clive "Kool Herc" Campbell、Treacherous Three、Grandmaster Melle Mel & the Furious Five、Sisco Kid、Wanda Dee等。

《Beat Street》的影响在全球以及整个美国都是如此。例如在德国，《Beat Street》和《Wild Style》等电影将Hip-Hop文化引入该国。

因为这部电影如此重视Hip-Hop的视觉方面，比如涂鸦，这些方面对新兴的德国Hip-Hop场景影响最大。

正是这些视觉方面帮助把Hip-Hop文化带到德国，而不仅仅是一种音乐类型。

不少知名说唱歌手都在他们的歌词当中提到了这部电影。

AZ在单曲"The Come Up"中唱道："Before Beat Street, streets was heavily in deep with the ryders."

The Notorious B.I.G.在 "Suicidal Thoughts"中唱："Should I die on the train tracks like Ramo in Beat Street/People at my funeral frontin" like they miss me."

Jay Electronica的"Exhibit A (Transformations)" ，Ras Kass的 "Won"t Catch Me Runnin""，Mr. Lif的 "Elektro"，都有提到《Beat Street》。

《Beat Street》的两张电影原声更是有着豪华阵容——Grandmaster Melle Mel and the Furious Five, Jazzy Jay, Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic，Treacherous Three，以及传奇beatboxer——Doug E. Fresh参与。

这两张专辑打入Billboard 200和R＆B专辑榜，售出了黄金销量——超过50万张。
